Antique Micromosaic Bird Earrings of 14k Gold

These striking 14k gold earrings were created from micromosaics dating to the Victorian era (circa 1840-1850). The finely rendered micromosaics are comprised of hand set glass tesserae depicting seated birds, and the ornamental tops were originally hat pins (circa 1880-1900).

Each earring measures 1.7 inches from the top of the stud to bottom of the dangle by 0.8 inches wide. They are in great condition.
