Antique Niello Bead Earrings with Birds on 14k Gold Ear Wires

Niello is an ancient Japanese technique used to darken metals.

These elegant dangle earrings were converted from antique beads (circa 1880-1900). The earrings are a darkened metal hand etched and accented with gold. The beads are set in 14k gold.

Each earring measures 1.5 inches from the top of the ear wire to bottom by 0.6 inches wide, and they are in great condition.
