Antique Carved Banded Agate and Diamond Earrings of 14k Gold

A beautiful stone with a rich history, agate has been worn in jewelry and protective amulets since ancient times for its purported ability to ward off evil and attract love.

These antique 14k gold earrings (circa 1890) features black and white carved agates with old European cut diamond accents at their centers.

Each earring measures 0.85 inches from the top of the ear wire to bottom by 0.45 inches wide. They are in excellent condition.
