Antique Greenman Conversion Earrings with Black Jade Spears

The Green Man motif has its roots in ancient deities associated with nature, plant growth and wildlife. In art and sculpture, a green man is typically depicted with vines, leaves, and branches sprouting out of a man's face or head.

These dramatic Green Man earrings were created from antique cufflinks (circa 1910) by adding spears of black jade and garnet accents.

Each earring measures 3.1 inches long by 0.65 inches wide. They are in excellent condition.
