Insect Earrings | Micromosaic Earrings

Victorians were fascinated with naturalism and brought their flora and fauna indoors in the form of jewelry inspired by plants and animals.

These beetle earrings were converted from an antique bar pin circa (1870). The studs are 14k gold and feature hand set glass tesserae depicting beetles.

Each earrings measures 0.4 inches in diameter, and they are in very good condition.
