Montana Agate and Diamond Lion Conversion Earrings of 14k Gold

Montana agate is considered a stone to promote self-confidence and maturity.

These dramatic 14k gold earrings were converted from a pair of antique cufflinks by adding 14k gold posts and long, Montana agate spears. The lion heads (circa 1890-1900) have ruby eyes and clutch a diamond in their teeth.

Each earring measures 2.5 inches from top to bottom by 0.55 inches wide. They are in excellent condition; however, under magnification, you can see that one of the ruby cabochon eyes was replaced with a small color matched faceted stone.
