Amethyst Intaglio Scarab Pendant of 14k Gold

Ancient Egyptians believed the scarab faced god, Khepri caused the sun to rise each day, and as such, scarabs are an ancient symbol of renewal, creation, and rebirth.

This alluring pendant features a hand carved amethyst intaglio depicting a winged scarab holding a rising sun. Our jeweler mounted the loose intaglio in 14k gold to transform the piece into a pendant.

The pendant measures 1.3 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the piece by 1 inch wide. We are providing the option to purchase the pendant with or without the 17 inch 14k gold chain depicted in the photo.
