Antique Micromosaic Dove Conversion Pendant of 14k Gold

This exceptional pendant was converted from an antique 14k gold brooch (circa 1870-1890) by removing the pin findings and adding a gold bail. The piece is comprised of hand set glass tesserae depicting two white doves.

The pendant measures 1.25 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 1.15 inches wide. It is in very good condition with a few missing tesserae visible under magnification and a small repair to one of the gold embellishments on the front left of the piece.
