Antique Snake Charm Holder or Chain Extender of 10k & 14k Gold

This antique charm holder (circa 1870) features a snake's head of 10k gold with emerald eyes and three diamond accents. The swivel clasp that hangs from the snake's mouth is 14k gold.

The piece measures 2.55 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.4 inches wide and is in great condition. It weighs 14.24 grams and is being sold without the chain and box depicted in the photos.
