Antique Onyx Conversion Pendant of 14k Gold

Make a bold statement with this dramatic late Victorian era pendant, dating from 1870–1900. Once an antique brooch, the jewel has been thoughtfully reimagined by our jeweler, who removed the original pin findings and created a custom 14k gold bail, allowing it to be worn as a striking pendant.

The design centers on a polished onyx, its deep black surface serving as a sophisticated frame to a single glistening diamond, a detail that adds just the right touch of brilliance to this otherwise bold composition.

Measuring an impressive 2.8 inches in length by 1.8 inches in width, the pendant commands presence while remaining wearable for both day and evening. It is offered in excellent condition, a testament to the quality of its craftsmanship and careful preservation.

Its gold content has been professionally verified through X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and jeweler’s acid testing, confirming the integrity of its 14k gold construction.

The chain shown in the photographs is for styling purposes only and is no longer available.

Materials: onyx, gold, 14k, 14k gold, diamond.
