Antique Black Enamel Violet Pendant of 14k Gold

A striking black enamel and pearl violet pendant created from an antique brooch!

The violet is 14k gold (marked) and dates to the early 1900s. It was manufactured by the renowned maker Crane & Theuer of Newark, NJ.

The violet is decorated with a matte black enamel with a lustrous pearl at its center. It was originally an antique brooch that our jeweler transformed into a pendant by removing the pin findings and welding on a gold bail.

The pendant measures 1 inch from top to bottom by 0.8 inches wide. It is in very good condition with some minor wear to the enamel.
