Antique Amethyst and Diamond Insect Brooch

This antique brooch (circa 1890) features an insect of amethyst and rose cut diamonds in silver topped 9ct gold "pierced" with a pearl studded pin.

The piece measures 0.6 inches by 1.9 inches wide, and it is in very good condition.
