Antique Byzantine Woman Stickpin of 14k Gold

During the turn of the nineteenth century, artisans were inspired by the changing roles of women in society and began depicting the free flowing feminine form in brooches, bracelets, rings and more.

This antique 14k gold stickpin (circa 1910) features a Byzantine woman with a hand painted enamel face and a crown of rubies, diamonds, and a pearl.

The top of the stickpin measures 0.75 inches by 0.55 inches wide with the entire pin length measures 2.55 inches. The piece is in great condition.
