Vintage Butterfly Earrings with Sapphires and Diamonds of 14k Gold

Representations of butterflies have been popular for ages, dating back nearly 3,500 years ago to the Egyptian frescoes at Thebes. The beautiful butterfly is often associated with the human soul – signifying change, hope, and life.

These lovely vintage earrings (circa 1960) feature three deep indigo sapphires on each butterfly wing and a glistening diamond accents at their center. The earrings are 14k gold (marked) and in good condition.

They measure 0.65 inches from top to bottom by 0.65 inches wide.
