Art Deco Floating Opal Necklace: An antique floating opal lariat necklace by the original designer, Horace Welch. This 1920s era piece is mounted in 14k gold with asymmetrical drops. The top of each drop is stamped "PATS Pending" which refers to the patent by Horace Welch.

The chain measures 16 inches with an additional 2.25 inches in length from the drop. It is in great condition.
