Antique Ivy Leaf Necklace of 14k Gold

A marvelous necklace marrying two powerful symbols-- ivy, a symbol of fidelity and friendship with blue forget-me-not flowers representative of true love and remembrance.

This antique necklace (circa 1870-1900) features three ivy leaves accented with turquoise forget-me-not flowers. The pendant is 14k gold and the chain, a later replacement, is 9ct gold (acid tested).

The necklace measures 18 inches and the condition is quite good; however, on the reverse of the ivy pendant you can see a bit of lead solder indicative of early repairs.
