Antique Griffin or Dragon Stickpin of 14k Gold

Chatelaine pins, watch pins, and stick pins featuring chimera or griffin-like creatures were quite popular and produced by most of the fine American jewelry manufacturing companies around the turn of the 20th century.

This antique stick pin (circa 1910-1920) features a griffin or dragon of 14k gold grasping a single pearl in its tail.

The griffin measures 0.6 inches from top to bottom by 0.75 inches wide and the total length of the stick pin is 0.75 inches. The piece is in excellent condition.
