Victorian Gargoyle Charm of 18k Gold

Gargoyles, which were originally designed as water spouts to preserve a building's masonry, have come to symbolize protection.

This antique charm (circa 1890-1900) features a gargoyle of 18k gold with emerald eyes and a diamond in its mouth.

The piece measures 0.7 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0.55 inches wide and is in very good condition.
