Antique Braided Heart Pendant of 14k Gold

The love knot motif, a popular design since ancient times, was commonly used throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries to symbolize the entwined hearts of lovers or friends.

Not your traditional love knot, this textured braided heart knot was originally part of an antique 15ct gold brooch (circa 1900-1910) transformed with the addition of a 14k gold jump ring bail.

The pendant measures 0.8 inches from top to bottom by 0.6 inches wide, and it is in very good condition. We are providing the option to purchase the pendant with or without the 18 inch 10k gold chain depicted in the photos.
