A timeless symbol of protection and rebirth, this elegant carved carnelian scarab charm was originally part of an Edwardian-era stickpin (circa 1910) and has been thoughtfully converted by our jeweler into a unique and wearable charm. The rich orange-red carnelian is hand-carved into the form of a scarab beetle, a motif drawn from ancient Egyptian iconography and beloved by early 20th-century designers.
The scarab is set in solid 14 karat gold, which has been professionally verified using both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and traditional jeweler’s acid testing to ensure gold purity and authenticity.
Measuring approximately 0.8 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom and 0.5 inches wide, this piece is in excellent antique condition, retaining the depth and detail of its original carving with a warm gold glow that enhances its sculptural presence.
Ideal for layering with other antique charms or wearing as a standalone talisman, this piece is perfect for collectors of Egyptian Revival jewelry, Edwardian-era gold, or meaningful antique conversions that blend symbolism with timeless style.
Materials: gold, 14k, carnelian.
