Crab Charm | 14k Gold Crab

In some cultures the symbol of the crab is associated with rebirth and renewal because it continually casts off its existing shell for a new one. The crab is also the symbol of the Zodiac's Cancer sign representing those who's birthdays fall between June 21 -July 23.

This intriguing charm features a finely rendered crab with a diamond in its front claws. The crab was originally part of a 14k gold stick pin (circa 1890-1910) that our jeweler transformed by expertly removing the pin stem and welding on a gold jump ring bail.

The crab measures 0.75 inches from the top to bottom (not including the bail) by 0.425 inches wide, and it is in very good condition.
