Charming micromosaic earrings depicting birds in sitting on a branch of roses.

These striking earrings date to the Victorian era (circa 1870-1890). The finely rendered micromosaics consists of hand set glass tesserae in a three dimensional design with the birds slightly raised atop the black floral background.

The earrings measure 1.25 inches from top to bottom by 0.6 inches wide, and they are in very good condition.
