Antique Anchor Locket | Antique Black Enamel Locket

Anchors are designed to hold boats fast in the stormiest of seas, and thus are powerful symbols of security, stability, and hope.

This dramatic anchor locket dates to the late Victorian era (circa 1890). The finely rendered antique locket is 14k gold with black enamel and features a lovely hand etched design ornamented with half pearls.

The locket securely opens and closes and it measures 1.7 inches from top to bottom by 1.15 inches wide. There is light surface wear to the enamel on both sides of the locket.
