Antique Hunting or Hound Dog Charm of 14k Gold

This antique charm (circa 1880-1900) features the face of a hunting or hound dog of 14k gold.

The piece measures 0.95 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0.4 inches wide. The charm was likely originally a stickpin, as there is evidence on the reverse of the removal of a pin stem and some solder near the bail on the reverse of the piece.
