Antique Opal Earrings of 14k Gold

These elegant dangle earrings showcase fiery white opals set in 14k gold, their shifting play-of-color lending both warmth and radiance. Originally fashioned as shirt studs (circa 1880–1900), the jewels have been thoughtfully transformed by our jeweler into earrings, with 14k gold ear wires added to preserve their antique charm while enhancing wearability.

Each earring measures 0.9 inches from the top of the ear wire to the base and 0.5 inches across, offering a graceful proportion suited for both day and evening wear. The gold has been authenticated through XRF analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming purity and ensuring the integrity of the setting.
