Antique Synthetic Ruby & Diamond Earrings | Antique Earrings

An elegant pair of antique synthetic ruby and diamond earrings from the early 20th century (circa 1900-1910).

These earrings feature synthetic rubies surrounded by a halo of 13 rose cut diamonds set in 14k gold mountings (unmarked, but acid tested).

The earrings measure 0.7 inches (18mm) from top to bottom by 0.4 inches (10.5mm) wide. They are in good condition; however, under magnification you can see that the diamonds are crudely cut and some have chips to the facets. They have gold wire at the bottom to secure the hook in place. This triangular wire is visible in the photos, but not visible when the earrings are worn.
