Bleeding heart flowers are a symbol of unending (and sometimes unrequited) love.

This exceptional bleeding heart brooch dates to the mid 20th century (circa 1945). It is 18k gold and features beautiful enamel flowers with post set pearl accents.

The piece is marked 18k and also bears the maker's mark for Krementz & Co. of Newark, NJ.

The brooch measures 1 inch from top to bottom by 2.2 inches wide, and it is in great condition.
