Frog Brooch | Vintage Enamel Frog Brooch

In many cultures throughout the world, frogs are believed to symbolize good luck. In German culture, this good luck is attributed to frogs ability to only go forward, never backward.

The adorable frog brooch dates to the mid-20th century (circa 1950-1970). The frog is 14k gold and ornamented with colorful white and green enamel and red enamel eyes.

The brooch measures 1.8 inches from top to bottom by 1.4 inches wide. It is in very good condition; however, there is some chipping to the enamel (visible only under magnification.
