Antique Moonstone and Diamond Ring of 10k Gold

Moonstone, a gorgeous iridescent stone with silvery blue-gray tints that almost look like ice, was a cherished gift among lovers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This attractive ring features a moonstone cabochon and a diamond accent set into a lovely Art Nouveau era mounting with organic free-flowing lines. The mounting dates to the early 1900s, while the moonstone cabochon is a later replacement stone.

The ring is unmarked, but acid tests for 10k gold. It is a size 8 and can be re-sized free of charge.
