Antique Snake Conversion Earrings of 14k Gold

Throughout both ancient and modern civilizations, the snake has remained a favorite in jewelry creation. With their long coiling bodies and textured skin, serpents create an alluring jewelry motif.

These dangles feature coiled snakes with a diamond in their mouths and tiny demantoid garnet eyes. The snakes were originally 14k gold cufflinks transformed with the addition of 14k gold ear wires. The earrings measure 1.1 inches from the top of the ear wire to the base of the dangle by 0.55 inches wide and they are in very good condition.
