Antique Turquoise Egyptian Revival Scarab Pendant of 14k Gold

Ancient Egyptians believed the scarab faced god, Khepri caused the sun to rise each day, and as such, scarabs are an ancient symbol of renewal, creation, and rebirth.

This 14k gold pendant was originally an antique pin (circa 1910-1915). The piece features a carved turquoise scarab nestled inside two entwined snakes.

The piece measures 1.3 inches from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.6 inches wide. It is in excellent condition.
