Renaissance Era Table Cut Diamond Earrings of Gold

A rare pair of 17th century table cut diamond dangles in 22ct rub over settings with 18k black and white enamel drops, leaded glass bead surmounts, and 14k gold ear wires. The drops date to the early 1600s (circa 1600-1620), and we suspect that they were originally part of an antique necklace.

One of the table cut diamonds measures 3.61mm by 3.81mm with H-I color, I1 clarity. The other measures 3.77mm by 4.77mm with H-I color, SI1 clarity.

The earrings measure 1.6 inches from the top of the ear wire to bottom by 0.6 inches wide, and they are in excellent condition. They have a combined weight of 12.28 grams.

Materials: 22k gold, 18k gold, 14k gold, Diamond, Enamel.
