Antique Diamond Car Charm of 18k Gold and Platinum

A delightful antique-inspired charm designed as a miniature automobile, crafted in platinum with wheels that spin, and accented with rose cut diamonds, emerald, and 18 karat gold details. The finely rendered form captures the charm of early motoring design, with the diamonds adding subtle brilliance and the emerald providing a vivid point of color.

Originally part of an antique stickpin dating to 1900–1910, the piece has been thoughtfully transformed by our jeweler through removal of the original pin stem and the addition of a gold jump ring bail, allowing it to be worn as a pendant or charm.

The piece measures 0.6 inches from the top of the jump ring to the bottom and 0.6 inches wide, with a weight of 2.91 grams, offering a compact yet eye-catching presence. It is presented in great antique condition, with stones secure and details well preserved.

Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint to verify authenticity. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming platinum and 18K gold components.
