Antique Untreated Natural Ruby and Diamond Bypass Ring

An antique bypass ring (circa 1900-1910), featuring two natural, untreated rubies with halos of old mine cut diamonds set in platinum with a 14k gold band. The rubies are vivid purplish red color. One weighs approximately 0.41ct and the other weighs approximately 0.36ct. The diamonds have a combined carat weight of 0.35ct.

The face of the ring measures 0.6 inches by 0.5 inches wide, and it is in great condition. The ring is a size 6, but it can be resized for an additional charge.

It weighs 3.9 grams and the metal content was verified using XRF (x ray analysis) and jeweler's acids.
