Antique Amethyst Ring of 10k Gold

An elegant antique ring (circa 1890-1900) centered with an amethyst set within a floral-engraved 10 karat gold mounting. The amethyst displays a vibrant violet tone, beautifully complemented by the intricate hand engraving that frames the stone with delicate botanical detail—an aesthetic characteristic of turn-of-the-century craftsmanship.

The face of the ring measures 0.5 inches north to south, offering a refined yet noticeable presence on the hand. It is presented in good antique condition; however, there is a bit of glue residue on the periphery of the mounting visible only under magnification. The ring is currently a size 4.75, but it can be re-sized for an additional charge. It weighs 1.54 grams.

Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 10K gold construction. A graceful and timeless example of early 20th-century design.
