Antique Dragonfly Pin of 14k Gold

An enchanting antique pin dated 1886, designed as a finely rendered dragonfly in 14 karat gold, set with vivid demantoid garnets and accented by a sparkling diamond. The demantoids display the lively brilliance and rich green hue for which this rare garnet variety is prized, while the delicate goldwork captures the airy elegance of the dragonfly form—an enduring symbol of transformation and lightness.

The reverse bears the engraved inscription “PAL NOV 30 ’86,” preserving a personal and historical touchpoint that anchors the piece to its 19th-century origins.
