Antique Garnet and Diamond Ring of 14k Gold

A dramatic antique ring dating (circa 1900), centered with a richly saturated pear-shaped almandine garnet carbuncle, accented by two old European cut diamonds set in 14 karat gold. The garnet’s smooth, domed surface displays deep, glowing red tones, beautifully contrasted by the lively sparkle of the antique diamonds. The face of the ring measures 1.4 inches by 0.75 inches wide, offering impressive presence across the hand while maintaining balance in wear. It is presented in great antique condition, with stones secure and the goldwork well preserved. The ring weighs 6.20 grams.
