Vintage Turquoise Spider Pendant of 9k Gold

A striking pendant originally a brooch (circa 1920-1930), designed as a finely sculpted spider crafted in 9 karat gold. The body is set with a vibrant turquoise cabochon, complemented by a luminous pearl that adds softness and contrast to the design. The carefully articulated legs and balanced composition give the piece a distinctive sculptural presence, reflecting the playful naturalistic motifs favored in early 20th-century jewelry. It has since been thoughtfully converted into a pendant, allowing it to be worn and enjoyed in a contemporary way while retaining its period character.

The pendant measures 1.5 inches from the top of the jump ring to the bottom and 1.1 inches wide, with a weight of 4.4 grams, creating a noticeable yet elegant statement when worn.

Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 9K gold construction.
