Honeymoon pins were popular gifts among couples around the turn of the last century. The forget-me-not flowers represent the "honey" and the crescent represents the "moon."
This darling pendant was originally an antique honeymoon pin (circa 1910) transformed with the addition of a 14k gold jump ring bail. The textured gold crescent is accented with blue forget me not flowers. It is unmarked, but was acid tested for 14k gold.
The pendant is 1.6 inches from the top of the ring bail to the bottom of the crescent by 1 inch wide. It is in good condition with some loss to the blue enamel on the flowers and a dark patina that has developed beneath the flowers.
We are providing the option to purchase the crescent with or without the 20 inch 9ct gold chain depicted in the photos.
