Honeymoon pins, just like the pendant part of this exquisite necklace, were popular gifts among couples around the turn of the last century. The pink flowers represent the "honey" while the crescent depicts the "moon."
Beautifully rendered with ornate detail, this delicate flower and crescent pendant was originally an antique honeymoon pin (circa 1910). The pendant is unmarked, but acid tests for 14k gold and the the pink enamel flower is accented with a sparkling diamond.
The pendant measures 1.2 inches from top to bottom by 0.9 inches wide, and it is in good condition with minimal enamel loss. We are offering the option to purchase the pendant with an accompanying 16 inch 14k gold chain depicted in the photos.
Materials: Gold, Diamond.
