Antique Charm Necklace of 14k Gold

A charm necklace featuring nine 10k and 14k gold charms suspended from a 14K gold chain. The charms were originally antique stickpins dating to approximately 1890–1910, which our jeweler thoughtfully transformed by removing the pin stems and attaching the decorative elements to create a cohesive and wearable necklace. The piece includes enamel flowers, heart motifs adorned with pearls and moonstones, and a faceted amethyst briolette, showcasing the romantic symbolism and varied artistry that made late Victorian and Edwardian stickpins so desirable. Each charm retains the character of the original jewel while contributing to a distinctive composition which is both elegant and rich in history.

The necklace measures approximately 17.5 inches in length and 0.8 inches in width and weighs 9.05 grams. It remains in great condition with well-preserved enamel, gemstones, and details throughout.

Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 14K gold construction for the chain and 14k and 10k gold charm components.
