An exceptional antique brooch featuring three playful diamond birds resting atop a golden branch.
This finely rendered brooch dates to the late Victorian era (circa 1870-1900). The piece is mixed metal with the birds rendered in silver and the branch in 14k yellow gold.
Each bird is accented in rose cut diamonds with tiny ruby eyes, and all three are full of personality. The two birds on the right of the brooch are shown tugging on a leaf, while the bird on the left has a bit of a smile on its face.
The brooch measures 0.7 inches from top to bottom by 1.7 inches wide, and it is in excellent condition.
It would be a perfect gift for any discerning jewelry collector, but it would also make a great gift for a mom of three children.
Materials: Diamond, Silver, Gold.
