Victorian Diamond Conversion Earrings of 14k Gold

A breathtaking pair of antique diamond flower earrings!

These 14k gold & diamond flowers date to the mid-Victorian era (circa 1850). Each earring is set with 21 old mine cut diamonds in a floral motif, and the total diamond weight of the pair is approximately 1.5ct with SI1-i1 clarity, J-K color. There are some surface abrasions and chipping to the diamonds consistent with age.

The drop style earrings measure 1.38 inches from top to bottom by 0.5 inches wide. The earrings were likely once part of a brooch, as there were originally the remains of tube hinges on the backs of the earrings.

The total weight is 7.47 grams.

Materials: Diamond, Gold.
