Antique Enamel Flower Pendant of 14k and 18k Gold

A charming antique pendant dating to 1870, featuring a delicate arrangement of enamel flowers and a butterfly crafted in 18K gold. The combination of botanical and naturalistic motifs reflects the Victorian fascination with the natural world, which inspired jewelry designs ranging from flowers and insects to birds and other elements of the garden. Originally an antique jewelry element, the piece was thoughtfully transformed into a wearable pendant by our jeweler, who added a 14K gold back and bail while preserving the original 18K gold and enamel design.

The pendant measures approximately 1 inch by 0.9 inches wide and weighs 2.42 grams. It remains in great antique condition.

Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 18K gold construction for the original element and 14K gold construction for the added back and bail.
