Antique Enamel Tiger Stickpin of 14k Gold by Alling & Co

A wonderfully whimsical stickpin by Alling & Co. (circa 1910) featuring an enamel tiger, rendered with ruby eyes and holding a lustrous pearl between its jaws. The colorful enamel brings the figural animal to life, while the contrasting ruby eyes and pearl add distinctive accents to the playful design. Figural animal jewelry was a popular form of antique personal adornment, reflecting the period’s fascination with naturalistic and whimsical motifs.

The pin head measures approximately 0.6 inches by 0.4 inches wide, with the entire stickpin measuring approximately 2.6 inches in length. It weighs 2.98 grams and remains in great antique condition.
