Antique Garnet Chestnut Locket of 14k Gold

Chestnuts are enveloped in a spiny bur that splits when it’s ready to harvest.

This antique horse chestnut locket dates to the late 1800’s and features a spiked 14k gold shell around a garnet nut.

The piece measures 1 inch from the top of the bail to bottom by 0.6 inches wide and is in great condition.
