Antique Gemstone Brooch

An exquisite example of early 19th-century craftsmanship, this rare Georgian-era brooch (circa 1800–1830) showcases a vibrant symphony of natural rubies, emeralds, sapphires, aquamarines, and diamonds — each hand-set in silver with the refined artistry characteristic of the period. The elongated form and delicately balanced palette make this piece a timeless testament to the opulence and sophistication of Georgian jewelry design.

The brooch measures 2.35 inches long by 0.35 inches wide and weighs 4.52 grams. The gemstone portion of the brooch, which is set in silver, is in very good condition. At some point in the past, the Georgian jewel was carefully mounted onto a white gold back with a yellow gold base metal pin.

The metal content has been verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring authenticity and quality.
