K820-2A
This striking pendant features a finely enameled woman wearing a black mask, her eyes sparkling with diamond accents. Originally crafted as an antique cufflink (circa 1850–1860), the jewel has been thoughtfully transformed by our jeweler with the addition of a 14k gold backing and bail, giving it fresh life as a pendant while preserving its mid-19th-century artistry.
The piece measures 1.3 inches from the top of the bail to the base by 1 inch across and weighs 8.76 grams. The gold content has been verified through XRF (x-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming purity and authenticity.
In great condition, this jewel is a rare example of early enamel portraiture reimagined for modern wear—a captivating piece that blends Victorian symbolism, exquisite detail, and timeless elegance.
