Antique Miniature Landscape Earrings of 14k Gold

A remarkable pair of earrings, each featuring a finely painted landscape miniature set within an elegant 14k gold frame backed with mother of pearl. Originally part of an antique brooch (circa 1860-1870), the artworks were expertly transformed into earrings by adding diamond surmounts and 14k gold ear wires, creating a harmonious blend of historic artistry and modern wearability.

Each earring measures approximately 1.35 inches from the top of the ear wire to the bottom by 0.7 inches wide, with a combined weight of 5.64 grams.

The gold has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed with jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating their 14k gold composition. The earrings are in very good condition with light surface wear to the glass (visible only under magnification).
