Antique Opal, Emerald, and Ruby Ring of 15k Gold

An enchanting Victorian era ring (circa 1850), set with a unique arrangement of opals, emeralds, and rubies, all mounted in 15 karat gold. The combination of gemstones creates a richly colored composition, with the opals offering soft color, beautifully complemented by the light green emeralds and red rubies.

The face of the ring measures 0.4 inches north to south, offering a petite yet eye-catching presence on the hand. The ring weighs 1.80 grams and is presented in good antique condition with a few light chips to the emeralds (visible only magnification) and little fire to the opals. There would have originally been a tiny compartment for hair on the reverse of the piece that is no longer present.

Currently a size 7, the ring may be professionally resized for an additional charge.

Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint to verify authenticity. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 15K gold construction.
